Integration between Ongoing WMS and Global-e

Streamlined cross-border fulfillment
The integration works seamlessly with pre-existing Global-e orders created through their checkout solution. You simply provide the eCommerce order number along with package details (quantity and contents) to Global-e, which handles all the complex cross-border logistics automatically.
Simplified booking process
Unlike traditional transport integrations, there's no need to manually send address data, customs information, or shipping details. Global-e uses the existing order information from their system to create transport bookings automatically based on the provided order ID and package details.
Shipping labels and tracking
Receive shipping labels in PDF/ZPL format and tracking information directly in Ongoing WMS. The labels can be automatically printed using Ongoing Printer Service for efficient warehouse operations.
Shipping manifest generation
At the end of the shipping process, generate shipping manifests by providing a list of booked orders to Global-e, streamlining the final step of the fulfillment process.
How it works
The integration follows a simple workflow:
- Orders are pre-created in Global-e through their checkout solution (e.g., via Shopify integration)
- From Ongoing WMS, send the eCommerce order number along with package quantity and product details
- Global-e automatically creates transport bookings using the existing order information
- Receive shipping labels and tracking information back to Ongoing WMS
- Generate shipping manifests for completed orders
Getting started
To set up an integration with Global-e, contact your Global-e representative to obtain your Merchant ID. This is required to configure the integration in Ongoing WMS.
