Integration between Ongoing WMS and nShift Portal
Introduction
nShift Portal is a dashboard for nShift Ship shipments. The integration between Ongoing WMS and nShift Portal enables automatic retrieval of tracking information and status updates for shipments in nShift Portal.
Getting started
To set up an integration with nShift Portal, the following credentials are required:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
To obtain these credentials, please follow the instructions in the nShift API configuration setup guide.
After you have gathered this information, navigate to the integration page in Ongoing WMS to set up the integration. The nShift Portal integration is found under the category "Other".
Features
Tracking information
The integration fetches tracking information from new and updated shipments in nShift Portal. The corresponding order or shipment in Ongoing WMS is then updated with the tracking information.
Transport status updates
Ongoing WMS receives status updates on shipments from nShift Portal. The integration runs on a schedule and fetches shipments that have been updated since the last run. It then updates the corresponding order or shipment in Ongoing WMS with the latest status information.
This enables you to see the current transport status directly in Ongoing WMS, such as:
- Shipment picked up by carrier
- Shipment in transit
- Shipment delivered
