Integration features
SPY works as the central system for orders, products, purchasing and stock, while Ongoing WMS handles the physical warehouse operations.
When the integration is active, SPY sends the relevant warehouse data to Ongoing WMS, including:
- Sales orders, so the warehouse can pick, pack and ship customer orders.
- Purchase orders and inbound deliveries, so warehouse staff can receive goods directly in Ongoing WMS.
- Article and product data, so new products, created in SPY are available in the warehouse.
- Return information, so returned goods can be handled and matched back to the correct order or claim.
- Production and assortment information where relevant, so warehouse handling matches how products are structured in SPY.
Ongoing WMS reports important warehouse events back to SPY using webhooks. This allows SPY to react when orders are picked, packed or shipped, when purchase orders are received, when returns are processed, and when stock changes are registered in the warehouse.
In addition to these event-based updates, SPY also runs a daily stock synchronization job. This helps compare stock between the systems and ensures SPY stays aligned with the inventory registered in Ongoing WMS.
Together, the daily synchronization and webhook updates keep SPY and Ongoing WMS connected without requiring manual updates in both systems.
