Introduction
Health Industry Bar Code (HIBC) is a barcode standard designed to be able to track and identify healthcare-related items. HIBC is developed by Health Industry Business Communications Council (HIBCC) and is designed to have the information you need easily accessible.
HIBC Barcodes
With HIBC barcode, you can access details about the product such as type of product, product name, manufacturer, expiration date, tracking and more.
Scanning of HIBC Barcodes
Ongoing WMS support scanning of HIBC barcodes. Contact your representative at Ongoing if you want to scan HIBC barcodes. Currently Ongoing WMS is not able to generate HIBC barcodes.
