Integration between Ongoing WMS and ECO3 Apogee Storefront

Apogee StoreFront is the web-to-print solution of ECO3, a leading global supplier of prepress systems to the printing industry.

This cloud-based e-commerce system enables print service providers to create online stores where customers can place orders for print and non-print products. Shoppers can personalize documents such as business cards, displays or brochures using a sophisticated Online Editor. An optional approval cycle enables management to review all personalized documents before these are automatically sent to the printer. Its print-related focus and integration with the production software of printing companies distinguish Apogee StoreFront from generic e-commerce solutions such as Magento or Shopify.

Shops created using Apogee StoreFront can also contain stock or pick & pack products, such as catalogs, gadgets or poster mounting kits. There is an option to display the stock counter on product pages. For such products, the integration with Ongoing WMS comes in handy. The link ensures StoreFront and Ongoing WMS stock counters are always perfectly in sync. When shoppers order stock products in an Apogee StoreFront shop, the ordered product quantity is also deducted from the stock in Ongoing WMS. StoreFront order data are forwarded to Ongoing WMS so that the team in charge of shipping has all the data at hand to fulfill the online orders for stock products. If shoppers order by phone, the new stock level is also shown in Apogee StoreFront shops.

Thanks to the integration between both systems, order handling is more efficient and stocks are always in sync. Customers cannot accidentally order products that are no longer in stock.

Getting started
