Integration between Ongoing WMS and ReturnZap
ReturnZap is a returns management platform built for Shopify merchants that simplifies and automates returns, exchanges, and store credit. ReturnZap’s tools and automations save time and reduce refunds by encouraging actions like exchange and store credit.
ReturnZap works worldwide and enables a seamless returns process for your customers. ReturnZap integrates directly with Ongoing WMS to fully automate the end-to-end returns process. This integration is suitable whether you outsource your logistics to a 3PL that uses Ongoing WMS or run your own warehouse with Ongoing WMS.
Getting Started
- Send ReturnZap details - Email support@returnzap.com with your Ongoing GoodsOwnerId and GoodsOwnerCode
- Invite ReturnZap as an API user - Invite support@returnzap.com as an API user in Ongoing WMS. Instructions on how to activate access to Ongoing API can be found here.
- ReturnZap sets up integration - The ReturnZap team will set up the integration between the two systems.
- Testing - Work with ReturnZap to run through a few test scenarios to ensure the integration is functioning properly.
- Go live - Once testing is completed, ReturnZap will make it live and begin automating your returns process.
Returns workflow
- Customer initiates a return - Customers register a return via ReturnZap’s return portal on your Shopify store. Return details are synced to Shopify.
- Return synced to Ongoing WMS - The return details are automatically synced with Ongoing WMS, and a return order is created against the original order in Ongoing. This ensures that the warehouse is prepared before the goods arrive.
- Warehouse processes return - The warehouse receives the return in Ongoing WMS, indicating the quantity received.
- Automatic updates - Once the return is processed in Ongoing, ReturnZap will automatically process the return and complete any required refund, store credit, or exchange.
